Our Approach
At Bear Creek ABA, we believe meaningful progress begins with understanding the whole child. Our approach is built around each child's unique strengths, needs and goals.
Individualized
Every child learns differently. We create personalized goals and strategies based on what makes your child unique.
In-Home & Everyday
We bring therapy into the environment where your child feels most comfortable. Skills are practiced through real-life routines, play and everyday experiences.
Family-Centered
You know your child best. We partner with parents and caregivers to make progress meaningful and support skills beyond therapy sessions.
Strengths-Based
We celebrate progress- big and small- while helping children build communication, confidence, independence, and meaningful connections.
Every child has their own path to growth. We’re here to walk alongside them—celebrating the small steps, meaningful moments, and milestones along the way.

Meet the Founder
"Welcome to Bear Creek ABA. I am grateful to have the opportunity to bring a dream I’ve carried for many years to life in the community I call home.
My passions for supporting individuals with autism began before I entered the field professionally in 2020. Growing up, I experienced firsthand what it was like when the resources and services families needed simply weren’t available. Those experiences had a lasting impact on my family and shaped my desire to help make meaningful support more accessible to others.
I’m proud to be from this area and even more grateful to now serve the community I love. I earned my bachelor’s degree from Central Michigan University and went on to earn my master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from the Florida Institute of Technology. I am also currently pursuing a PhD in Educational Psychology, continuing to learn and grow so I can provide the best possible support to the individuals and families I serve.
My decision to start Bear Creek ABA comes from a simple belief: families should have access to compassionate, individualized support close to home. As the need for autism services continues to grow, I’ve been inspired by the many individuals, families, and organizations who have stepped up to strengthen our local communities. I wanted to be part of that effort and help bring additional resources and support to families in our area.
Outside of Bear Creek ABA, my favorite moments are spent with my children and family. Being a parent has given me an even greater appreciation for the importance of connection, understanding, and celebrating the little moments that make each child unique. I have been making the most out of the seasons we are lucky to experience here in the Upper Peninsula. Summer and falls in the U.P . are some of my favorite times of year, and being able to enjoy the outdoors is something I truly value.
I’m incredibly grateful for the love, encouragement, and support of my family, friends, and community throughout this journey. Thank you to everyone who has believed in Bear Creek ABA and supported this dream from the very beginning. Your encouragement has meant more to me than I can put into words."
